To continue with this professional development series, some of the more popular technology tools will be introduced.  To begin the next part of Make & Take Tech days, Nearpod was explored. Teachers experienced Nearpod as a student by completing a variety of activities using the features of Nearpod that encompassed content from all grades levels k-3.  At the conclusion of the Nearpod activity, a poll was featured to gather data about participants who wanted to try a Nearpod trial or license. Out of 28 teachers who participated, 10 responded yes, 13 responded with yes but they may need assistance creating lessons, and 3 responded no.  The results of this data would have been higher, however, the district issued a snow day on a Make & Take day at one building. Instead of rescheduling, a screencast of the professional development was created and posted on the Google Classroom as well as emailed to all teachers of that building.  Unfortunately, only three teachers participated.
