Throughout the month of December, a total of 40 classrooms in grades kindergarten-6th, participated in Hour of Code to introduce students to computer science.  All of the activities were very fun, engaging, and effective in teaching students the concept of coding, problem solving, critical thinking, sequencing, and creative digital arts (and more). Students in kindergarten and 1st grade used https://www.kodable.com/hour-of-code.  Students in grades 2-3 also used Kodable along with a little bit of code.org.  Our 4th-6th grade students experienced and explored coding completely through code.org which has self-led tutorials that allow children and adults learn how to code through virtual workshop.
